How to cope with a mean manager
When you have a manager it is not always easy to get a long with them. It can be very difficult to find a way to make nice with your manager and have a good work environment. You need to try your best to do what you can to be happy and supported in your workspace. There are ways that you can cope with your mean manager and actually make friends with them.
There is only so much that you can take when a manager is being rude to you. One option is to try and ignore it. You may want to think about avoiding your manger as much as you can. One way is to ask for different shifts from the manager that is making life hard. If you do have to work with them there are things that you can do to try and make it a better place for you to be. Do not let someone make your job hard to go to. You have the right to be happy and healthy when you are at work and building up too much stress because of a mean manager is not going to help you achieve that.
Think about what you are having a hard time with. Figure out a few options that you think will be the best way to handle it. Make a plan and follow it. You will feel better when you are doing something to make it better and if one option does not work, you should move on to the next one.
You need to have an open mind. Do not hide from the fact that you think that your manager is giving you a hard time. You should first think about what is going on in your life. You need to think about what this is doing to your life and if you want to do something about it. You should not have to sit back and let a manager make your work environment a bad place to be.
You may want to sit down and talk to your manager. Explain to them what is going on and how you feel. They may be able to talk to you and help you understand what is going on in the situation. You might want to tell them how bad they are making you feel and that this behavior is not going to work with you and you want it to stop.
Once you get the feelings that you are having off your mind, you may find that you have a sense of relief. You might feel as if you are doing something about the problem and that it is going to be fixed so that you no longer have to deal with the tension that is going on. If you find that once you have explained to your manger about your feelings nothing has changed, you may want to take it one step farther. You can go to your general manager or the owner. You have to be willing to find a solution to how you are feeling about your relationship.
Coping with the stress of dealing with your mean manager is going to help you feel good about what you are doing at work. You will have a feeling of accomplishment when you are able to stand up and take control of something. You are going to feel empowered by what you do at work. Giving in to someone that is making your life bad is not going to be a good thing. You have to live for yourself and if this means that you have to get someone in trouble, then so be it.
