Not all states require the monitoring of in-home daycares, especially if the child count is low. A daycare license does not determine the quality or level of care received, but it is important to investigate and rely on best judgment. If a concern of yours, opt for a daycare monitored by the state. They are subject to strict rules and unannounced visits.
